Customer Awareness & Security Guidelines

Kakinada City Town Bank (KCTB) is committed to protecting its customers from fraud and promoting safe and secure banking practices.

1. Protect Your Banking Credentials

Customers must keep their User ID, passwords, PINs, One-Time Passwords (OTPs), debit card details, and all other security credentials strictly confidential.

2. Never Disclose Sensitive Information

Login credentials, OTPs, card numbers, CVV, and PINs should never be shared with anyone. KCTB officials will not request such information via phone, SMS, email, or social media.

3. Use Only Official KCTB Channels

Customers should perform banking transactions and service requests only through KCTB’s official website, mobile application, or authorized branch counters.

4. Report Suspicious Activity Immediately

Customers should immediately notify the Bank in case of:

  • Unauthorized or suspicious transactions
  • Fraudulent calls, emails, SMS, or fake websites
  • Loss or misuse of debit cards, credentials, or mobile devices
5. Keep Contact Details Updated

Ensure that your registered mobile number and email ID are always updated with the Bank to receive transaction alerts and important security notifications.

6. Follow Cyber Safety Advisories

Customers are advised to follow cyber safety tips, alerts, and awareness communications issued by KCTB from time to time.

7. Cooperate During Security Reviews

Customers are expected to cooperate with the Bank during investigations related to suspected fraud or cyber incidents by providing necessary information or confirmations when requested.
